Santa Barbara Wedding DJ
Alex proposed to his high school sweetheart, Suzanne, on the beach. So when they were looking for their wedding DJ and venue, Suzanne recalls seeing DJ Hustle DJ ing , a beach setting was a must. The couple fell in love with Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara because of the ocean views from the La Pacifica Terrace and the delicious menu the chef planned.
The Scene: The couple planned a clean, modern design for their ceremony, which included white, silver and blue accents inspired by the ocean. The bridesmaids wore royal blue chiffon dresses by J. Crew. For the reception, pops of pink invigorated the wedding venue. “I wanted to make sure that everyone had a great time,” says the bride. “We created a lounge setting outside with a bar and couches so guests could relax, and inside we had a photo booth and dessert bar.”
Magical Moment: The couple accidentally saw each other the morning of the wedding, and while some brides might be upset at the thought of their grooms seeing them before the ceremony, Suzanne says their encounter kept her calm throughout the day.
The Bride and Groom: Before the wedding, Suzanne and Alex’ officiant asked each of them to write a love letter to the other. James, known for his shy personality, surprised everyone with an eloquent message about his love for Suzanne and his dreams for their life together.
The Bride Wore: Suzanne fell for the first gown she tried on. Her Paloma Blanca wedding dress has a dropped waist silhouette, ruffled skirt and crystal belt detailing at the waist. To add colour, she accessorized her wedding-day look with glittery fuchsia Kate Spade pumps.
A Personal Touch: Before the ceremony, Suzanne’s grandmother gave her wedding band to Suzanne as a wedding-day gift. The simple band of gold is a family heirloom that Suzanne’s grandmother and mother wore. “It meant a lot to me,” says the bride, who wore the ring as she said “I do.” Suzanne and Alex celebrated their wedding surrounded by all the things they love: family, friends and the beautiful beach setting that brought back memories of their 10 years together.
